Ceske Budejovice
ABWE Czech began its work in Czech helping develop the first church planted in southern Czech, known as southern Bohemia. At the invitation of the leaders of the Baptist churches in Czech and those working with the church plant, we partnered to see the Baptist Church of Ceske Budejovice established and strenghthened.
In Budejovice ABWE worked to help train and disciple the congregation, organize and carry out many evanglistic outreaches, and to help see it expand its influence. From this church we have seen two church planters sent out who our missionaries have had extensive involvement in preparing. We continue to help and encourage these couples in ministry.

Krestanského vyucování a život
KVZ is a rare ministry seeing a great deal of fruit in Czech. They work primarily with university students and are seeing many students saved, discipled, and following Christ.
At the beginning of the 80's God raised up a small group of believers among university students in Brno who wanted to be used by Him to fulfill His purposes and who started to pray for our country. In spite of the difficulties created by the communist regime, God began to use these Christians. Through their testimony more and more young people who believed in Him and wanted to follow him wholeheartedly were added to them.
Following the political changes in the year 1989, this group began to work openly among university students in Brno as "Students for Christ." In the year 1991 the movement was registered under the name Christian Education and Life. Thus far God has used it in this way: hundreds of students have received the gift of salvation and thousands of others have heard the Gospel. Those who believed have also had the opportunity to grow in faith and service. Some continue working among students, the majority have joined the ministries of local churches or other Christian organizations after completing their studies. From the ministry of the Students for Christ in Brno the work has spread gradually to other cities, namely Ostrava, Hradec Kralove, and Prague.
Our relationship goes back to the late 1990’s when Michael Loftis served as regional administrator and came into contact with KVZ. They then asked him to serve on their board as a consultant for the ministry. Then as ABWE Czech was established, we began to develop our own personal relationship with the ministry and and serve alongside them in their various endeavors. One of which is is a new movement of house churches to address the needs of their graduates who return from their years of study to areas without gospel witnesses or churches..
